Welcome to Superior!

Thank you for coming to our great community. I am very fortunate to truly call Superior my hometown. Even with the rapid growth of the state of Arizona, Superior still enjoys a small time atmosphere .

When my grandfather arrived in Superior in the early 1920's as a Chinese immigrant, he saw not just a great opportunity for a business but a great place to raise a family, eventually of ten children. I, too, see Superior as a great place to raise my four children.

The cornerstone of our community is our families, many of which have thrived here for many generations. As the rich mineral ore run deeply around us so does the rich good traditions run deep among our families.

We are nestled here at the foot of the historic Apache Leap Mountain. We boast about our open spaces, great mountain views and our clean air. But we are most proud of our people. Those who have decided to make Superior their home agree that this community is filled with good hearted people.
